APPOINTMENTS:

• 2000 - 2006: Appointed by the Pennsylvania State Supreme Court to be a hearing committee member for the Disciplinary Board. Have presided over numerous cases of attorney misconduct and have written recommendations and opinions to the Disciplinary Board for appropriate discipline. In 2004 was designated to serve as a Senior Member of the Hearing Committee.
• 2000 - Present: Appointed by the Pennsylvania Bar Association Board of Governors to serve on the Pennsylvania Bar Association Judicial Evaluation Investigative Committee. Responsibilities included conducting investigations into the candidacy of statewide judicial candidates. I interviewed the judicial candidates, conducted interviews with persons and colleagues familiar with his or her abilities and submitted comprehensive reports to the Judicial Evaluation Commission for their use in determining whether or not the candidate should be recommended by the Pennsylvania Bar Association as qualified to hold the position.
• 2004 - Present: Appointed by the President of the Westmoreland Bar Association to serve on the Westmoreland Bar Association Political Action Committee.
• Appointed in 2005 and 2006 by the Westmoreland Bar Association to serve on the Planning Committee.
• 2006 - 2008: Nominated and elected to serve on the Pennsylvania Bar Association House of Delegates.
